The Emergency Grant Program provides students with one-time assistance for up to $500. This need is often seen for students as a barrier to continue in their educational journey. These funds assist them by allowing their focus to remain on course completion.

Student Hygiene Kits - Perry County District Library

United Way is investing $2,500 to provide hygiene kits to students during the summer months in Perry County.

Perry County District Library staff distributed hygiene kits to children during the 2024 summer reading program which ran from June 1st through July 30th. Kits were distributed at all library locations and bookmobile stops. Each kit included toothbrushes and toothpaste, a towel, shampoo/body wash, and a comb in a reusable tote. A portion of the kits also included deodorant. Kits were limited to one per child. Families truly appreciated the kits.

United Way is investing $3,588 to provide food and school supplies to students at East Muskingum School District. This investment will impact over 1,966 students.
Morgan Local Schools
United Way is investing $2,500 to provide school supplies to students at Morgan Local Schools. This investment will impact over 879 Morgan County Students.
New Lexington Schools
United Way is investing $2,000 to provide school supplies to students at New Lexington Schools.
Zanesville City Schools
United Way is investing $7,500 to provide school supplies to students at Zanesville City Schools.
